Through research for this project, I discovered that Gen-Z are the biggest users of social media, especially book-focused social media (for example, BookTok). When interviewing members of Gen-Z, I found that the thing they liked the most about this social media was community and being able to talk to like-minded people. Therefore I decided to name my project 'Creaying conversations', in the hope to inspire more in-person conversations about books and reading, like the ones happening on social media.
This project could be developed by applying the merchandise identity to various other projects, and also on more digital formats like social media and web. This project aims to inspire people to talk more about books and reading, and to create more of a community.
